Geckodrive G540 in Art – Student Donation

Geckodrive, Inc. was happy to help out Chad Bridgewater, an art grad student, when it came to a project he was making for his last semester at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Chad found a salvaged 1946 drill press and converted into a CNC foam cutter for a class called “Machines that Make Machines.” Chad integrated Geckodrive’s G540 into his project, stating “Running off a scrapped computer, the new Made in USA Geckodrive G540 motor controller runs the show. It was by far the smoothest integration of all.” Thanks for the love Chad, we’re so glad we could help with the donation! Check out some photos of his project below:
